Nordic Green – Solutions for Serbia project launched in Novi Sad with Denmark taking the lead on Partnership for Sustainable Agriculture

On October 18th  we launched the Nordic Green – Solutions for Serbia Project initiated and organized by the four Nordic embassies in Serbia – Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden – in cooperation with the Nordic Council of Ministers. The first in a series of events was held in Novi Sad, led by the Embassy of Denmark under the topic Nordic-Serbian Partnership for Sustainable Agriculture.   


The event was held in Science and Technology Park in Novi Sad, with four Nordic Ambassadors present, representatives of local business community and esteemed experts from Denmark and Serbia who shared their views on the current state of agriculture, challenges and opportunities ahead of us, green best practices in agriculture, as well as new technologies and innovations as a way to fight climate change and strengthen sustainability in Serbia.   


The project continues next month with event in Belgrade where Norway will share its experiences in Renewable energy, and in the beginning of February 2023, Finland will showcase its solutions for greener businesses and industrial processes in Niš, and Sweden its best practices for waste separation and recycling in Čačak.
