Nordic Lunch - Embassies and NBA Board discuss plans for 2023

Nordic Green - Solutions for Serbia Closing Event

Cirkularna Ekonomija u Beogradu – Inovacije i odgovornost pokretači, a donosioci političkih odluka predvodnici tranzicije

Na završnoj konferenciji u Beogradu, u prisustvu predstavnika sve četiri nordisjke ambasade, Vlade Republike Srbije, EU delegacije i privrednog sektora, sumirali smo utiske sa prethodno održanih radionica i preporuke digli na nacionalni nivo, sa ciljem uticaja na državne politike u oblasti cikularne ekonomije. Cirkularna ekonomija u Nišu, tretman otpadnih voda prvi korak ka modelu u kome se ništa ne baca

Naučno-tehnološki park u Nišu mesto je na kome smo održali treću u nizu radionica u okviru projekta “Jačanje cirkularne ekonomije u Srbiji - nordijska iskustva”. Bio otpad i zeleni gradovi bile su glavne teme prethodne dve radionice, a u Nišu smo smo govorili o inovativnim rešenjima nordijskih zemalja kada je tretman otpadnih voda u pitanju, fokusirajući su na dobre primere i prakse koje u ovoj važnoj oblasti sprovodi Švedska.

Cirkularna Ekonomija u Kragujevcu, da li je Kragujevac buduća zelena prestonica Srbije?

Druga radionica u okviru projekta “Jačanje cirkularne ekonomije u Srbiji - nordijska iskustva” održana je u Kragujevcu, a glavna tema bila je zeleni razvoj gradova i lokalnih samouprava. Znanje i iskustvo o ovoj važnoj oblasti podelili su nordijski ambasadori i eksperti, a iskustva u primeni nordijskih principa cirkularne ekonomije preneli su i predstavnici kompanija koje posluju u Srbiji - Fabrika kartona Umka/Kappa Star Group i Vucomm/Vaisala.

Cirkularna Ekonomija u Novom Sadu, pravilno upravljanje bio otpadom šansa za privredni rast

U Novom Sadu održali smo prvu od četiri radionice u okviru projekta “Jačanje cirkularne ekonomije u Srbiji - nordijska iskustva”. Glavna tema bila je upravljanje bio otpadom, o kojoj su govorili norveški stručnjak Jens Moge i danski eksperti Vini Evers i Mikael Hansen, a među prisutnima bili su i ambasadori Norveške, Danske i Finske, zamenik ambasadorke Švedske u Srbiji, predsednik Skupštine AP Vojvodina Ištvan Pastor, gradonačelnik Novog Sada Miloš Vučević i sekretar Udruženja usluga Privedne komore Vojvodine Branislav Mamić.

Ambasador Norveške - domaćin lansiranja projekta cirkularne ekonomije

U prisustvu velikog broja članova i partnera Nordijske Poslovne Alijanse, imali smo čast i zadovoljstvo da predstavimo važan projekat kojim ćemo u saradnji sa Ambasadama Danske, Finske Norveške i Švedske i uz podršku Nordijskog saveta ministara, prikazati primere dobre prakse i ukazati na važnost i benefite cirkularne ekonomije.

Letnji NBA koktel u Norveškoj rezidenciji – kako smo, čemu težimo i šta nas inspiriše za dalje?

U prelepom ambijentu bašte rezidencije norveškog ambasadora Jørna Gjelstada, odigralo se prvo poslovno umrežavanje članova Nordijske Poslovne Alijanse u post-kovid periodu. Nova strategija, planovi, kao i najava mnogobrojnih projekata Alijanse u narednom periodu, samo su neke od zanimljivih tema koje su bile povod ovog sjajnog letnjeg okupljanja.

Pokrenuli smo novu energiju časom Nordijskog hodanja sa ministarkom Tatjanom Matić

Fizička aktivnost, socijalizacija, pokretanje nove energije, ali i stvaranje i doprinošenje zajednici kroz promovisanje zdravog načina života u prirodi. Glavne ciljeve prvog događaja nakon pandemije Covid-19 virusa u organizaciji Nordijske Poslovne Alijanse, prepoznali su i podržali ministarka trgovine, turizma i

telekomunikacija, predstavnici sve četiri nordijske ambasade, kao i brojni mediji i gosti.

VISIT TO THE CITY OF NOVI SAD
A 30-member Nordic delegation, led by the Ambassador of Finland and including representatives of the Nordic Embassies and Nordic companies operating in Serbia, visited Novi Sad. The delegation was welcomed to the city by Zdravko Jelušić, president of the city assembly, then Igor Mirović, First Minister of the Vojvodina Provincial Government, after which a meeting was also organised with Nikola Žeželj, Director of the Development Agency of Vojvodina, and finally also a meeting with Boško Vučurević, president of the Vojvodina Chamber of Commerce. The last working segment was a B2B session with companies from Vojvodina.

SUSTAINABLE AND INNOVATIVE OPERATIONS

Innovation, education and sustainability were the three key words of the seminar “Sustainable and Innovative Business”, organised jointly by the Finnish Embassy, Suomi Finland 100 partner companies, with the support of the Nordic Business Alliance. The goal of this business event was to share experiences of the sustainable and innovative operations practised by Finnish companies and their distributors in their activities.

SWEDISH NATIONAL DAY AND THE CENTENARY OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN SWEDEN AND SERBIA

On the occasion of the anniversary of a hundred years of the establishing of diplomatic relations between Sweden and Serbia, Swedish Ambassador H.E Jan Lundin organised a celebration to coincide with Swedish National Day, inviting all members of the Nordic Business Alliance to attend. During the celebration, the RTS Children’s Choir Kolibri performed, then Ambassador Lundin delivered a speech that was followed by the festive cocktail reception. The event was attended by many members of the diplomatic community and figures from the economic, cultural and political life of Serbia.

BUSINESS SPEED MEETING WITH AMCHAM AND FRENCH-SERBIAN CHAMBER

On Thursday, 6th April at Hyatt Regency Hotel in Belgrade, at 14:00, representatives of member companies of the Nordic Business Alliance (NBA) have met with representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia (AmCham) and the French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (CCIFS) on a series of "quick business meetings" (Business Speed Meeting). During the event members of business associations had the opportunity to expand their contact network and establish a good base for future cooperation through this innovative format of informal meeting.

EU NETWORKING RECEPTION

Belgrade’s Vizantija raft restaurant provided the venue for a large business gathering of eight European chambers of commerce present in Serbia. The reception was attended by 250 people, including members of chambers, foreign and domestic businesspeople and managers. This was the first and most important gathering to date of European chambers of commerce organised with the aim of networking members and strengthening cross-chamber cooperation.

VISIT TO THE CITY OF NIŠ

A delegation of the Nordic Business Alliance, led by Norwegian Ambassador in Belgrade H.E. Arne Sannes Bjornstad, met with Niš Mayor Darko Bulatović and representatives of the city authorities to discuss possibilities for cooperation and local projects that could include the participation of members of the Nordic Business Alliance. This was followed by a meeting of delegation members with companies that operate in Niš, both public enterprises and private companies, including foreign investors present in Niš

MEMBERS’ ASSEMBLY & CHRISTMAS RECEPTION

The regular assembly of Nordic Business Alliance members was held at Belgrade’s Radisson BLU Old Mill Hotel. Alongside the submitting of reports to members, priorities were set that will guide the Nordic Business Alliance throughout the next calendar year. Following the Assembly, members had the opportunity to summarise their positive impressions of the current year at a cocktail reception held in the spirit of New Year’s holidays.

HELLENIC BUSINESS ASSOCIATION, SLOVENIAN BUSINESS CLUB AND NORDIC BUSINESS ALLIANCE

The Hellenic Business Association, Slovenian Business Club and Nordic Business Alliance jointly organised a “SPEED BUSINESS MEETING” event for their members at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. This event has a concept that provides participating companies with the opportunity to present themselves, their services and products efficiently to all event participants. NEWSWEEK MAGAZINE’S CONFERENCE ON DIGITAL BANKING

On the 21st March 2016 a conference was held on digital banking, trade and commerce at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belgrade. The conference was organized by Adria Media Group and Newsweek Magazine. The Nordic Business Alliance was one of the partners and participants in the event. Besides the representatives of ICT and banking sector, this conference was focused on the end-users of modern services, and has been useful to a wider audience.

WORKING MEETING OF NORDIC BUSINESS ALLIANCE AND PRIME-MINISTER ALEKSANDAR VUČIĆ

On Monday, 7th December in Radisson Blu Hotel, at 12:00, the Nordic Business Alliance had the pleasure of welcoming the Prime Minister of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Vučić. This conference marked the beginning, of a long term cooperation with the aim to with mutual effort remove obstacles for doing business of the Nordic companies, and by extension, the whole business community in Serbia.

The purpose of the Nordic Business Alliance in Serbia is to become a place where ideas and experiences among Nordic business community and Serbian could be exchanged. Given the reputation of each Nordic country and as a region as well, the companies coming from them transpose that reputation, by supporting and promoting those values.

In wine cellar „SirOvina“ we spent few hours sipping wine from winery „Temet“ in relaxed and intimate atmosphere listening to stories from Mr. Bjelogrlic which illustrated life and work experience of one of Serbian most successful actor and director.

On the 4th of June 2014 Embassies of Denmark, Finland, Island, Norway and Sweden in Belgrade organized #NordicDay – celebration of National days, Nordic cooperation and Nordic investments in Serbia. Manifestation started with seminar on topic „Together we are stronger – Nordic economic cooperation and innovation: the importance for Western Balkans“, followed by reception, as well as promotion of Nordic companies in Serbia.

“Learning from the best”- Seminar on Ecology and Sustainable development

The purpose of this event was to make insight in ecological policy of our members and to show activities from domain of sustainable development. Topics being discussed at the event were: 1. how do Nordic countries doing business compared to other? How did it change through time and what is the plan for the future? 2. What are the standards that are being used when doing business, first of all 14001? Where were companies in the past, where are now, where will they be? Are there different procedures in various countries? Lecturers were people from corporative world, public sector and two young entrepreneurs from the field of social activism and innovation

INCITING INVESTMENTS IN SERBIA – PRECONDIIONS AND LEGISLATIVE FRAMEWORK

On Thursday, January 21, 2016, the Nordic Business Alliance in partnership with the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia organized the event "Inciting investments in Serbia - preconditions and legislative framework“ in the Small plenary hall of the National Assembly in order to share the experience of representatives of Nordic investors in Serbia and that the MPs, members of the Economic Caucus of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and members of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
