Nordic Business Alliance joins the Ambassadors of Responsible Business

On March 1, 2022, a member of the Nordic Business Alliance, Propulsion, as part of the New Literacy program (Nova pismenost) gathered leading domestic companies, with the aim of improving and promoting ethical and responsible business through the Ambassadors of Responsible Business program. Ambassadors of Responsible Business are companies with a robust corporate governance system that guarantees transparency, data protection, open speaking culture, digital services/processes, anti-corruption/whistleblowing, the existence of employees who deal with topics relevant to Compliance, and have developed ethical business policy.


The goal of this platform, which brings together leading companies in the fields of banking, trade, pharmacy, e-commerce, advocacy, telecommunications, manufacturing and many other vital industries is to contribute:


·      to the spreading of knowledge about responsible operations, responsible digital transformation and digital products and services, responsible communication with the consumers, responsible processing of personal data, ethics, and other elements of responsible cooperation with small businesses that are still insufficiently familiar with these concepts.

·       to the education of the consumers about the benefits and risks arising from digital business, as well as how responsible companies protect their consumers and users of services, concerning the products and services that are sold or provided to them.


Activity “The Ambassadors of Responsible Business” of the New Literacy Program (Nova pismenost) is implemented in cooperation with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection and the Corporate Compliance Association. Nordic Business Alliance has also joined this program in order to further affirm the mentioned values and take part in the activities.


The New Literacy Program, implemented by partnership of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Propulsion, works with citizens, the media, companies, the education system, influencers, and government to bring media, information, and digital literacy practices to the forefront of modern and competitive Serbian society.
