Successful Project Launch in Kragujevac: Advancing Towards a Smarter, Greener Future for Serbia

We successfully launched Smart Cities project in Kragujevac, the beginning of our journey to make Serbian cities and municipalities more efficient, greener, and citizen-friendly.  The great progress has already been made in Kragujevac, with the National Data Center and other initiatives, and the local government is keen to keep going.

With two interesting panels we learned about Nordic best practices when it comes to building smart cities roadmaps, and about smart solutions that Serbia has already implemented in some municipalities.

This project is a result of our strong collaboration with the four Nordic Embassies—Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden—alongside the Government of the Republic of Serbia, and local municipalities.

We are proud of the partnerships we have built with NALED and SKGO, which have been instrumental in driving this initiative forward together with Nordic Business Alliance.

Our members have recognized the importance of this topic and are providing their relentless support. Through collective efforts, we are confident that Serbia’s path toward a more sustainable future will continue to gain momentum.
